The spiritual formation and continuing Catholic education of adult members of the parish and community is a high priority. Numerous programs in our parish provide opportunities for constant growth in a variety of ways. Programs are held throughout the year according to needs and liturgical seasons.
How to Become a Catholic
A series of classes for adults inquiring about the steps necessary to become a Catholic, or for any adults wishing to learn more about the fundamentals and basic teachings of the Catholic Faith. Classes normally begin in mid to late September. For information please contact

A series of preparation classes open to baptized Catholic adults (18+) who for any reason have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation and/or possibly the Sacrament of the Eucharist. Weekly classes begin in late January/early February and continue for twelve weeks through late April/May depending upon the scheduled parish date for the administration of the Sacrament of Confirmation. Covered are the fundamental and basic teachings of the Catholic Faith. A monthly series of continuing Catholic education programs presenting outstanding speakers discussing topics of relevance to all. Subjects include all areas of Catholic belief, life and practices. Admission is free and open to the public. The Evening programs are presented on the second Thursday of each month from 7:30-9:00 p.m. in O’Donnell Hall. Learning more about the Church while deepening your Faith
Open to anyone interested in learning more about the Faith, the Sacraments, Church teachings, practices, procedures, traditions, and devotions. Classes are structured informally and include discussion of Catholic books, films, DVDs and other resources to provide participants with a forum for questions and answers as well as open discussion of any current church or religious issues appearing in the news media. Classes normally meet on the first and third Thursday evenings of each month in O’Donnell Hall. It is not necessary to attend classes in a sequential order. All materials are provided. The process by which members of the Church become aware of and understand their baptismal responsibility to bring the saving message of Christ and the meaning of the Gospel into the lives of every person. This is an ongoing educational process fostered through a series of spiritual and educational programs in the parish.
