Born in 1933 in Ireland, Father Sean was ordained a priest in 1957 for the diocese of Limerick. He was on loan to Florida for 8 years and served in the dioceses of St. Augustine, Lakeland, St. Petersburg, Deltona, DeBary and Titusville. Father Sean was also Chaplain to Irish Army, and served in the Republic of the Congo and Cyprus with United Nations Peace Keeping Battalions.

Father served in many parishes in Limerick diocese, and volunteered to help St. Patrick’s Missionary Society in northern Nigeria for five years. Father came to California in 1997 and served at Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish in Newport Beach, and at Holy Spirit Parish in Fountain Valley. Father Sean is now very happy to be semi-retired and serving at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.
